2025-26 St. Jane Parish School of Religion (PSR)
St. Jane Parish School of Religion (PSR) takes place in the traditional classroom setting on Monday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the Barre Center.
Registration is open to students in Pre-K to 10th grade.
Registration for the 2025-2026 school is now open
Parish School of Religion (Grades Pre-K to 10th)
Currently, we have one session for grades Pre-K to 10th.
Class will take place on Monday nights from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the Barre Center.
Classes will begin on Monday, September 8th, 2025.
1st Communion and 1st Reconciliation
This year, we have a new form that allows you to register for both PSR and 1st Communion at the same time. Please use the link below to register. There is only ONE form for both Sacraments.
Class and Parents Meetings will take place during the regular scheduled PSR classes.Note: To sign your student up for 1st Communion, they must be Baptized in a Catholic Church and must be in 2nd grade or higher. Even though we start preparation in 1st grade, you do not register for the Sacraments until 2nd grade.

Confirmation Sacramental Preparation
Confirmation classes, for 11th grade and higher, are being held separately on Sunday nights, from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m. following the Sunday 5 p.m. Mass.
Group attendance at the 5 p.m. Mass is highly encouraged.
Classes began on August 10th, 2025.
Confirmation will take place on October 15th, 2025.
A mandatory confirmation retreat will be held on October 4th, 2025 at St. Michael Mission in Bush from 10am until 5pm.Frequently asked questions:
what if my child has not been baptized, but i want them to receive the sacraments?
If your child is over the age of 8 years old and have not been Baptized, please register them for Regular PSR and call Holly Schwartz at (985) 248-0931, to discuss the program and what it entails to receive all of your Sacraments.
What if PSR does not work with my family's schedule?
We have several ways we can help. Please call Holly Schwartz at (985) 248-0931, to discuss all of your options to continue your Faith Formation.
Fee Schedule
- Parish School of Religion (PSR): $50 first student, additional siblings will get a price break. (fee covers books and materials.)
- First Communion Preparation: additional $50 (fee covers the extra books, parent books, rehearsals, retreat, and materials.) Please fill out both the PSR and the First Communion application.
- Confirmation Preparation: $100 (fee covers: registration, books, retreat, Confirmation robe rental, Confirmation ceremony and reception.) You will only need to fill out the Confirmation form.
